How Beating Cancer Changed My Politics, My Faith, and My Purpose

When you’re given a 5% chance to live, everything changes.

I was a Navy veteran, a young father, and a driven entrepreneur. But stage IV cancer stopped me cold. Doctors gave me little hope. I could’ve surrendered. Instead, I chose to fight—with faith, food, and a fierce will to survive.

That battle didn’t just change my health. It changed how I see the world.

Discovering the Broken System

I saw the cracks in our medical system—the blind trust in pharmaceuticals, the absence of nutrition, the focus on treatment over truth. I began to ask questions. I began to think differently. Why were natural healing approaches ignored? Why did insurance only cover pills—not prevention?

That experience opened my eyes to deeper problems: systems designed for profit, not people. It made me realize that many institutions, not just healthcare, were failing the very people they were meant to serve.

A New Mission Was Born

My recovery deepened my faith in Jesus Christ. It reminded me that true healing—physical, emotional, and national—requires truth and courage. I knew I had to share what I learned. I knew I had to step into the arena and fight for others.

That’s why I entered politics. Not for power, but for purpose. To give families hope. To bring honesty back into leadership. To challenge broken systems—and to remind America that healing is still possible.

Today, my purpose is clear. I want to serve. I want to restore. And I want others to know: No matter how dark it gets, there’s always a reason to fight.
